ST. GEORGE, Utah – New Barb Bite™ hose retainer kits from Hose Candy™ offer an alternative solution to inconsistent, leak-prone cable ties and metal clamps under the hood.
Compatible with all flexible tubing materials, Barb Bites are two-piece nylon snap-on clamps with custom color and identification capabilities that are designed to eliminate hose leaks. They offer a 360-degree radial crimp behind the barb and 360 degrees of compression directly on the barb’s ridge. The easy-to-assemble Barb Bites provide a permanent connection and are designed for 1/4-inch to 3/4-inch hose sizes.
Constructed from durable materials and manufactured in the U.S.A., Barb Bites are rated for underhood temperatures of 300 degrees Fahrenheit as well as for air, oil, alcohol, gasoline and other industrial chemicals. Barb Bites can be used in conjunction with Hose Candy Sidewinders™ – a quick-coupler system designed to transform the look, performance and efficiency of vacuum and turbo hoses of any vehicle. Additional applications include turbo hoses, waste gate, boost controllers, boost and vacuum gauges, rubber fuel lines, heater hoses, brake booster hoses, and Y and T fittings.
