Matt Shutt - Power Fab Auto

Houston, TX. May 16, 2010 – Matt Shutt of Power Fab Auto, a custom builder of high performance cars ($100-200K) was looking for a way to “amp up” his builds. Matt knows that the competitive edge is in the details, both looks and performance. Matt does tons of research to find the latest automotive technology and according to Matt, his research really paid off when he discovered Hose Candy. Matt wanted to enhance the look of vacuum and turbo hoses and make the “expensive” components they connect to easier to service and diagnose. Matt struck gold when he discovered Hose Candy. Matt bought one of the very first Hose Candy kits to see what the SEMA hype was all about. Hose Candy received a SEMA award in November, 2009. After only one week, Matt ordered 15 more kits. In addition, the entire Power Fab team installed Hose Candy on their own vehicles, not just their custom builds. Here’s what the guys at Power Fab have to say about Hose Candy “Here at Power Fab Auto we are constantly searching for the newest automotive technology. Hose Candy was the best thing at SEMA 09. Everyone knows how much of a headache vaccum lines are - either they break when you pull them off or you smash your hand into something sharp and hard. I contacted OOMPH! Labs and I purchased a Hose Candy Master kit and installed it on our record holding 620hp twin turbo pump gas G35 and several other vehicles, even my personal car. Hose Candy works even better than I could of hoped ... just a half turn to release any hose and I have pushed them to over 35psi of boost pressure. [singlepic id=41 w=320 h=240 float=right]I called OOMPH! Labs and purchased 15 more Hose Candy kits. Not only does Hose Candy give your engine bay one amazing visual statement, it actually serves a purpose. We use Hose Candy on almost everything we build. It makes connecting cars to the dyno alot easier and faster. In our race car applications where every second counts, Hose Candy is amazing. The only problem, I wish they would have come out with this years ago, maybe I would have a little more skin on my knuckles." Matt Shutt - PowerFabAuto.com Matt also discovered how Hose Candy quick-couplers and special “quick-tees” make servicing, diagnosing and tuning components like: turbo’s, wastegates, sensors and air induction systems a breeze. Matt recently had an open house in Houston demonstrating his recent builds and they all featured Hose Candy. Matt says “… Everything we build from here out will have Hose Candy”.
